Story Summary:
Lázaro e suas duas irmãs, Maria e Marta, eram amigos de Jesus. Quando Lázaro adoeceu suas irmãs sen uma mensagem para Jesus: "Senhor, aquele que tu amas está doente". Quando Jesus ouviu a notícia, ele esperou mais dois dias antes de ir para a cidade natal de Lázaro de Betânia. Jesus sabia que ele faria um grande milagre para a glória de Deus e, conseqüentemente, ele não estava com pressa.
Lazarus and his two sisters, Mary and Martha, were friends of Jesus. When Lazarus fell ill his sisters sen a message to Jesus,"Lord, the one you love is sick." When Jesus heard the news, he waited two more days before going to Lazarus' hometown of Bethany. Jesus knew that he would do a great miracle for God's glory and, therfore, he was not a hurry.
Quando Jesus chegou a Betânia, Lázaro já morto e no túmulo por quatro dias. Marta quando descobriu que Jesus estava a caminho, ela saiu para encontrá-lo. "Senhor, se estivesses aqui, meu irmão não ter morrido."
When Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had already dead and in the tomb for four days. when Martha discovered that Jesus was on his way, she went out to meet him. " Lord, if you been here, my brother not have died."
Jesus disse, Marta, seu irmão ressuscitará ". Marta, porém, pensou que ele estava falando sobre o final dos mortos.
Jesus told, Martha, your brother will rise again." But Martha thought he was talking about the final of the dead.

Then Jesus said these important words: I am the resurrection and the life. He who belives in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and belives in me will never die.

Martha then went and told Mary that Jesus wanted to see her. Jesus had not yet entered the village, most likely to avoid stirring up the crowd and calling attention to himself. The town the Bethany was not far from Jerusalem where the Jewish leaders were plotting against jesus.

When Mary met Jesus she was grieving with strong emotion over her brother's death. The Jews with her were also weeping and mourning. Deeply moved by their grief, Jesus wept with them.
Jesus então foi para o túmulo de Lázaro com Maria, Marta e do resto do enlutados. Lá, ele pediu-lhes para remover a pedra que cobria o lugar do enterro encosta. Jesus olhou para cima e orou a seu Pai, Encerramento com estas palavras: "Lázaro, vem para fora!" Quando Lázaro saiu do túmulo, Jesus disse ao povo para tirar a roupa grave.
Jesus then went to the tomb of Lazarus with Mary, Martha and the rest of the mourners. There he asked them to remove the stone that covered the hillside burial place. Jesus looked up and prayed to his Father, Closing with these words: "Lazarus, come out!" When Lazarus came out of the tomb, Jesus told the people remove his grave clothes.
Como resultado deste milagre incrível, as pessoas colocam sua fé em Jesus.
As result of this incredible miracle, people put their faith in Jesus.
