A história da Páscoa em inglês e português - The story of Ester and English and Portuguese

The Passover is a Christian event to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, is considered the largest religious celebration.  As Christ was reborn, we believe we will all have eternal life.On Good Friday, Jesus Christ was crucified and killed by Roman soldiers after suffering heavy beatings. The path Jesus walked carrying his own cross is known as the cross.
There are some symbols that mark the celebration of Easter and have a specific meaning, the main ones are: the lamb, the bell, the paschal candle, sunflower seeds, bread and wine and colomba Easter.

The lamb was sacrificed in honor of the liberation of the people of God, the Hebrews fled Egypt where they were enslaved. Moses slaughtered an animal to represent the sacrifice of his people for many years. For Christians, the lamb represents Jesus Christ, crucified and sacrificed for our sins.O cordeiro foi sacrificado em homenagem à libertação do povo de Deus, os hebreus, pois fugiram do Egito onde eram escravizados.
How many churches have bells, this also became an Easter symbol because its joyful sound heralds the rebirth of Jesus, his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
The Paschal candle is a candle, which signifies the rebirth of Christ, the light that illuminates our path and our lives, He has risen from the darkness. The Paschal show symbols alpha and omega, showing that God is the beginning and end of everything.O círio pascal é uma vela acesa, que significa o renascimento, a luz de Cristo que ilumina nossos caminhos e nossas vidas, tendo Ele ressuscitado das trevas.
Sunflower is the way to show that mankind must follow God's light, like the flower follows the sun, wherever the sun is the flower is facing his side.O girassol é a forma de mostrar que a humanidade deve seguir a luz de Deus, assim como essa flor segue a luz do sol; onde quer que o sol esteja a flor está voltada para o seu lado. The bread and wine became important figures in the Passover, Jesus knew that they would go through all that suffering and that he would die on the cross. So he called his disciples and did the Lord's Supper, offering bread and wine for them.
The gospel according to Luke explains this passage: "And he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and gave them, saying, This is my body given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise, after supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the New Covenant [or New Covenant] of my blood shed for you. " (Luke 22:19-20). These elements came to be regarded as the body and blood of Christ in search of eternal life.O evangelho segundo Lucas explica essa passagem: "E, tomando um pão, tendo dado graças, o partiu e lhes deu, dizendo: Isto é o meu corpo oferecido por vós; fazei isto em memória de mim.
